City Greens Market will host a community celebration featuring farm-to-table food, music, and fun to kick off the spring season. This FREE family-friendly event is a great way to enjoy BBQ and greens made from food produced by local Missouri farms. Grillin’ & Greens is the first event to be held on City Greens’ patio for the upcoming spring season. Patchwork Farms, Goodlife Growing, Freddie Lee’s Gourmet Sauces, and Nagl Farms will co-sponsor the event.
Although the event is free and open to the public, there will be fundraising activities to raise awareness about the significance of their local community garden. Currently, the City Greens community garden is being replaced due to redevelopment, and will be relocating to a new site on Hunt Ave and Taylor. Funds raised will help with the relocation.

City Greens Market is the only local non-profit grocery store located in The Grove. In an effort to make the food as affordable as possible, food is sold at wholesale and City Greens makes no profit. To maintain affordability, membership prices are based on household income.
