Were at it again, please join Shareca Sheabrown Pitts and ReeCee Hartnellfor a plarn party on Saturday March 18, from 2pm to 5pm. It's here that you will learn all the steps to turning non recyclable plastic bags into sleeping mats for homeless veterans.
Both Shea (of Cherokee Street Reach) and Ree Cee have extensive history with both crocheting and teaching this art and will be on hand to instruct new comers.
This party with a purpose will help us help our homeless neighbors by providing them with a little portable comfort as well as give us all an opportunity to do a bit of community outreach to help people in need and keep some of those pesky bags out of the landfills.
