This is an event that follows the Commonbound Conference; a conference that brought hundreds of people to St. Louis from all over the country and US territories to address the topics of building a solidarity economy. Many people from the conference left feeling as though they got to know another culture. We are trying to recreate that for this block party.
A small group of youth who attended this conference are organizing this event. This conference greatly impacted each of our personal lives and we want to spread this information and community with you all. There will be food, art, music, performances, vendors, and more to enjoy!
