Combating Anti-Muslim Oppression, Part 2

  • Friends Meeting House 1001 Park Avenue St. Louis, MO 63104 (map)

Recent years have seen a rise in anti-Muslim hate crimes, rhetoric, and discriminatory policies.

Part two of our two-part Anti-Muslim Oppression workshop will feature a speaker from the CAIR-Missouri Speaker's Bureau, and explore...

- how anti-Muslim oppression operates on individual and institutional levels
- how Muslims are racialized in contemporary America, with stories from the St. Louis Black Muslim community
- how we can we resist anti-Muslim oppression together

Did you miss Part I? Don't worry! We'll start with a brief recap. Some helpful background materials will be posted here soon for those that like to read up beforehand.
